====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-10-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the present application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/ directions to the Respondent No. 2 (District Magistrate Bettiah, West Champaran) to compliance of the order dated 07.09.2022, passed by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Mohit Kumar Shah in CWJC. No. 5634/2021 whereby it was observed that "it is needless to state that in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the respondent No. 2 (District Magistrate, West

Patna High Court CWJC No.3827 of 2023(2) dt.09-10-2023 2/2 Champaran) shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks, thereafter" but Respondent No. 2 has not passed any order in light of the said order of this Hon'ble Court till date.

The petitioner submitted an application before the District Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran respectively on 21.09.2022 and 25.11.2022 but no action was taken till date. Further for grant of any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitle in accordance with law as well as on facts."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies as are available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
