Petitioner is in custody since 19.10.2016 in connection with Pothia P.S. Case No. 161 of 2016 registered under Sections 376, 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. Charges in this case have been framed. There is no allegation of tampering with the evidence against the petitioner. The petitioner is rotting in custody for the last six months. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand rupees only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial
