This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Forbesganj P.S. Case No.449 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have killed the deceased. He is in custody since 27.05.2023.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. In the postmortem report, ante-mortem injuries have been found on the deceased.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The trial court is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12000 of 2024(3) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible. If there is no substantial progress in the trial, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
