The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 16 of 2012 arising out of Singhwara P.S. Case No. 238 of 2011 registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. He has renewed his application for bail which was earlier rejected twice by this Court.
By order dated 21.12.2015, a report was called for from the court below regarding the stage of trial. The trial court has submitted its report dated 5th January, 2016 which would reflect that altogether 15 prosecution witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution and the matter is pending
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57383 of 2015 (3) dt.05-02-2016 2 / 2 only for production of certain material exhibits. In view of the report submitted by the court below as also the reasons assigned in the previous orders whereby the application for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, I am not inclined to grant bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
The court below is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
