====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER 09-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner is accused in connection with Purushottampur P.S. Case No. 60 of 2016, registered under Sections 386 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of making demand of ransom of Rs.30,00,000/- through mobile no. 7765028877 at the mobile no. 9973050021 of the informant and also threatened him of dire consequences.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in course of investigation, police got recorded the confessional statement of the petitioner showing the involvement of the

It is further submitted that, in fact, on search, two mobile sets are said to be recovered from possession of the petitioner but mobile is different to the mobile to which the ransom was demanded, which would appear annexure 2 (seizure list) to the supplementary affidavit. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 04.12.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Purushottampur P.S. Case No. 60 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
