The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, registered in connection with Complaint Case No. Coma/26566 of 2019.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he has transferred the entire amount through RTGS in the account of the informant on 12.11.2021.

Learned counsel for the informant has made a prayer to refer the matter to the Mediation Centre, so that

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, is directed to be released on provisional bail for a period of two months on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sri Gurudarshan Singh Illaqaa Judicial Magistrate Ludhiana (Punjab), in connection with Complaint Case No. Coma/26566 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C.

Both the parties are directed to appear before the court below. The learned court below shall take every endeavour to explore the possibility of amicable settlement of the dispute by referring the matter to the Mediation Centre. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) HR/- U T
