08.04.2015 The background facts of the case is that a case had been instituted by the father-in-law of the Informant of the instant case on 06.01.2012 under Section 498A IPC. While evidence was being adduced a dispute arose between both the parties which led to an assault with fists and slaps on account of which the Informant of the instant case was injured. He then instituted the First Information Report in which the Petitioners seek anticipatory bail.
For an attempt of settlement, this Court had required the attendance of both the parties. However, there does not appear any ground of settlement. Considering the background of the situation which led to the ugly incident, provisional anticipatory
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6609 of 2014 (8) dt.08-04-2015 bail granted to the Petitioners by order dated 25.04.2014 is, hereby, confirmed in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 519 of 2013 pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga on the same terms as well as subject to the condition that the Petitioners will be well represented on each date and if they fail to do so on two consecutive dates, their bail will be liable to be cancelled . However, it is made clear that in case the Petitioners in future take law in their own hands their bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
