2. The writ petition has been preferred for a direction commanding upon the respondents to ensure the payment of GPF amount of the late husband of the petitioner alongwith statutory interest. During the pendency of the writ petition, the sole petitioner, widow of the erstwhile employee also died and now the legal heirs have been substituted vide interlocutory application no. 01 of 2024.

3. Supplementary Counter Affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 2 and 3.

4. It is made clear that the admissible GPF amount has

Patna High Court CWJC No.6956 of 2021(9) dt.28-10-2024 2/2 already been sanctioned and sent to the concerned office for payment, but on account of the fact that the amount shall have to be paid online and there is no update of the details of the deceased employee at CFMS/HRMS thus, a form has been sent to the district office vide letter no. 692 dated 16.08.2024, the copy of which is also brought on record alongwith the supplementary affidavit. As soon the filled up form shall be furnished to the concerned office, the admissible amount under the GPF shall be handed over to the petitioner.

5. In view of the facts narrated in the supplementary counter affidavit, the writ petition stands disposed with a liberty to the petitioner to submit the filled up HRMS form, as early as possible.

6. Suffice it to say that the moment the required form shall be furnished by the petitioner, the necessary payment shall be made to him but in any case within four weeks.

7. The writ petition stands disposed off.
