The petitioner is in custody in a case registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR but he has been made accused in this case only on the ground that he might have benefited with the property of deceased after his death. Moreover, having similar allegation, co-accused Brahamdeo Singh and Kamalesh Singh and Basudeo Singh @ Basdeo Singh have already been granted privilege of bail.
