The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No.131 of 2016 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code besides Sections 30(a) and 37(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 9 bottles, each containing 750 ml. Nepali Liquor, from the bag of the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 13.12.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3832 of 2017 (2) dt.15-02-2017 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahna at Dhaka, East Champaran, in connection with Kundwachainpur P.S. Case No.131 of 2016.
