The petitioners, who are in custody, seek bail in connection with Nirmali P.S.Case No. 118 of 2016 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Allegation is that the petitioners were carrying 30 bottles of foreign liquor and 56 bottles of country made liquor of Nepal on a motorcycle.

It is submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case and in fact nothing was recovered from their possession and they have no any criminal antecedent of any kind and have been in custody since 13.12.2016. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6634 of 2017 (2) dt.15-02-2017 2/2 upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Birpur, Supaul in connection with Nirmali P.S. Case No. 118 of 2016.
