In this case, the petitioner has raised grievance that he has not correctly paid the amount of leave encashment as well as interest on GIC. As per the claim of the petitioner, he is entitled to the interest at the rate of 12.5%, whereas he has been paid only 4.5% interest and so much so that the petitioner has not been given the benefit of leave encashment for 300 days. The Registrar of the University is directed to examine the case of the petitioner in view of letter of the Principal of C.M. College, Darbhanga, as also the letter of the Registrar, which itself shows that the petitioner is entitled to

Patna High Court CWJC No.15120 of 2015 (4) dt.16-05-2016 2/2 leave encashment for 300 days. The Registrar of the University is further directed to make payment of aforesaid dues within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With these observations and directions, this writ petition is allowed.
