After due deliberation, a decision has been taken to recommend for adopting the notification dated 10.03.2023

Patna High Court CWJC No.3328 of 2023 dt.12-01-2024 2/2 issued by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (Department of Animal Husbandry Dairying), Government of India namely Animal Birth Control Rules, 2023 which is issued by the Central Government in exercise of powers under Section 38 (1)(2)(ea) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. The decision has been forwarded to the State Government for due notification.

2. In view of the counter affidavit filed, we are of the opinion that the Public Interest Litigation can be closed.
