2. Heard Mr. Anish Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Rakesh Kumar Shrivastava, learned AC to GP 15 for the State.

3. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following relief:

"To issue a writ in the nature of certiorari and to quash/ set aside the order dated 19.03.2018 contained in memo no. 127 passed by the respondent no.4 the District Officer/Collector

Patna High Court CWJC No.15237 of 2018(3) dt.22-06-2020 2/2 West Champaran at Bettiah, whereby and whereunder the petitioner was put under suspension (again) w.e.f. 20.02.18 with subsistence allowance in terms of Rule 10(1) and 10(3) of Bihar Govt. Public Servant (Classification Control and Appeal) Rule 5, by fixing his head quarter at Circle Office Bagaha1 (Ann.4) The petitioner further prays to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay the subsistence allowance to the petitioner for the period he remained under suspension and after revocation of the order of suspension, the petitioner be his regular and arrears with arrears of salary, till the disposal of departmental proceeding. And any other relief or reliefs for which the petitioner be found entitled in law the granted to him."

4. At the outset, learned counsel for the State submitted that the counter affidavit has been filed stating that suspension of the petitioner has been revoked by order dated 24.08.2019 and, thus, the writ petition seeking quashing of suspension has become infructuous.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not controvert the position.

6. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off.
