2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 420, 406, 120(B), 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is alleged that the cheque, issued by the petitioner, bounced due to insufficient fund.

4. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is delay of 47 days in lodging the F.I.R. and there is no plausible explanation of delay. In fact, the cheque in question was not issued by this petitioner.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail petition and submits that this petitioner issued a cheque

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14422 of 2023(3) dt.20-07-2023 2/2 amounting to Rs. 57,11,577/- to the informant, which got dishonoured due to insufficient fund.

6. Considering the same, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
