This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. Some unknown persons have committed theft of the tractor of the informant. The name of the petitioner has transpired in the confessional statement of the coaccused, Rahul and Chandraketu Kumar. Submission of the petitioner is that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 05.01.2017.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Mehsi P.S. Case No. 82 of 2016 Tr. No. 2778 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14380 of 2017 (2) dt.04-04-2017 2/2 Magistrate, VI, East Champaran at Motihari, or successor Court with the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
