1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Karpi P.S. Case No. 317 of 2023 dated 26.08.2023 registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case on 25.08.2023 the S.H.O. of Karpi P.S. got a secret informant about the parking of one stolen tractor bearing Engine No. S337B19339 and Chasis No. MEA665A5AK2230263 in the premises of the petitioner. The Police party found the stolen tractor standing there and the petitioner was absent.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he was not having any knowledge that the tractor parked in joint family property was stolen one.

5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that tractor has been recovered from the premises of the petitioner and the petitioner is having criminal antecedent of similar nature of offence.

6. Regard being had to the submission made by the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the tractor in question has been recovered by the Police from the premises of the petitioner and the petitioner has the criminal antecedent of similar nature of offence, as such, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. The application stands dismissed.
