2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 386, 387, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has demanded Rangdari (Extortion) i.e. Rs. 5 lakh from the victim and had broken the door of the house of the petitioner.

4. Petitioner is accused in 11 more cases which includes the cases of extortion also. Petitioner is in jail since 21.10.2021.

5. Considering the serious nature of allegation against the petitioner and the criminal antecedents, I am not

6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.

7. The District Magistrate, Bhagalpur is directed to expedited the trial of all the cases registered against the petitioner at the earliest.
