The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 196/2018 dated 12.08.2018 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the informant while he was going to purchase fodder for the cow.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9653 of 2019(2) dt.19-02-2019 2/2 there is counter version of the occurrence and the injuries suffered by the informant are stated to be simple in nature. In fact even during the course of investigation, nothing concrete could be collected against the petitioners.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts and taking into account the clean antecedent of the petitioners, they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 196/2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
