In the present writ application, the petitioner had filed an application before the competent authority on 31-07-2018 for issuance of arms licence vide Annexure-1 to the writ application. As per knowledge of the petitioner, the police report has already been submitted.

Considering the relief sought for in the present writ application, the District Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran (respondent No. 3) is directed to look into the matter and pass an appropriate order on the application/representation of the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of
