In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent-authorities to issue Arms License to the petitioner.

The petitioner apprehends danger of his life and property and, as such, he had applied for Arms Licence vide Annexure-1 to the writ application with affidavit dated 31-072018. The said application is pending till date whereas as per rule 13 of the Arms Rule, 2016, the said application ought to have been disposed of within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of the police report.
