2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No. 249 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 20, 22, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.
3. Some criminals were caught planning to commit crime/loot. The petitioner has not been caught there. The name of the petitioner has transpired in the statement of the coaccused. He is in jail since 08.11.2023.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11366 of 2024(3) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-I, Gopalganj or Successor Court below, Gopalganj in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No. 249 of 2021.
6. The petitioner will also mark attendance in Thawe Police Station, Gopalganj on every Sunday of the month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) P. Kumar U T
