The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under section 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution is that the accused persons took away potato from the field of the informant and on protest being made the accused persons assaulted the informant and his brother. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that for a petty dispute the accusation has been labelled. However, learned counsel for the informant submits
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2603 of 2016 (2) dt.18-01-2016 2/2 that the informant has received grievous injuries. Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners in case the petitioners surrender within six weeks from today in connection with Buxar (M) P.S. case No. 318 of 2015 pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Buxar.
This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
