The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Ballia P.S. Case No. 58 of 2015 registered under Section 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47 of the Excise Act. Regard being had to the recovery of certain quantity of country made liquor from the house of the petitioner as also the allegation that the petitioner indulged in selling wine at his residence to different persons without there being any valid licence, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application is dismissed.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the
