Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No.657 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a), 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has committed no offence and falsely been implicated in this case. Further submits that nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and his name was implicated only on the basis of suspicion. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 31.12.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8828 of 2020(2) dt.14-02-2020 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J., IInd cum Special Judge Excise Act, Darbhanga in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No.657 of 2019.
