JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 11-09-2017 Heard Ms. Nirmala Kumari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Satya Prakash, learned AC to SC-22, for the State. The petitioner prays for direction to the respondent authorities for appointing her on the post of Senior Motivator in Bela Veera Panchayat, Makhdumpur Block, in the district of Jehanabad. A counter affidavit is filed and paragraph 6 thereof clarifies the entire position when it mentions that in all 22 applications were received for the 2 posts of Motivator. A merit list was prepared and the name of the petitioner appeared at serial no.4 with his Matric percentage at 61.11%. It is also mentioned that one Satyendra Prasad with 70.55% in Matriculation was posted at serial no.1 and accordingly, was selected on the unreserved seat on the basis of
Patna High Court CWJC No.1738 of 2016 dt.11-09-2017 higher marks. Such is the statement made in paragraphs 6(c) and 6(d) of the counter affidavit. It is further mentioned that the appointments were made in the year 2011.
In view of the discussions above, no cause for indulgence is made out in the selection process which is based on sound reasons requiring no interference.
The writ petition is disposed of.
