2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 458 of 2024 instituted under Sections 8, 17(c) and 18(c) of the NDPS Act.

3. The petitioner has been identified as a person who ran away with the illegal substance Doda 80 Kg. of which was recovered from the motorcycle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Local chaukidar disclosed the name of the petitioner.

5. Learned APP for the State submits that petitioner was involved in the business of illegal Doda.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the present application stands rejected.

8. If the petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the same shall be considered by the Court below in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the present order.
