JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 13-04-2017 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No. 32 of 2010, registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 354 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he tried to outrage the modesty of informant's daughter and on hulla being made by the victim girl, petitioner assaulted the girl with knife on her neck. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case and witness, namely, Bhola Kumar Singh and mother of the victim girl, have also not supported the case of the prosecution. Petitioner has been in judicial custody since long.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17185 of 2017 (2) dt.13-04-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner the privilege of regular bail, it is accordingly rejected.
However, a submission has been made by learned counsel for the petitioner that in this case trial has begun and out of six witnesses, three have already been examined and the case is pending for evidence of informant and Doctor and I.O. as such, learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude the same as early as possible.
At the same time, Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur, is also directed to ensure production of remaining witness in the court on the date fixed by the Trial Court so that the trial can be concluded with a reasonable period of time.
