The petitioner is in custody in connection with Khagaria (Muffasil) P.S.Case No.03 of 2017 registered for an offence under Sections 341, 323, 354(B) and 504 of the IPC. Allegation is that this petitioner used criminal force against the daughter-in-law of the informant and when informant tried to rescue her, he also assaulted the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the Gotia of the informant and on account of land dispute the present case has been lodged. The petitioner is the student of Intermediate Science and his examination is to be held since 14.02.2017. The petitioner is in custody since 03.01.2017.
