2. The petitioner in the present writ application has prayed for the grant of following reliefs:

i.) To issue an appropriate writ/order/direction, in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the decision dated 2.01.2023 of the University affiliation cum New Teaching Programme Committee of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur (hereinafter referred to as the University) by which the affiliation to the petitioner's College has been rejected for the session 2023-25 (as

Patna High Court CWJC No.2529 of 2023(3) dt.18-02-2026 2/3 contained in Annexure-4) ii) To issue an appropriate writ/order/direction, in the nature of mandamus directing the University to immediately grant affiliation to the petitioner's College from the session 2023-25.

iii) To issue an appropriate writ/order/direction, directing the Nodal Officer of L.N Mithila University to include the name of the petitioner's College in the list of affiliated College and to allot students from the list of successful candidates.

3. It has been brought to the notice of this Court that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. A statement to this effect has been made in paragraph-3 of the supplementary-affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner. Paragraph-3 of the supplementary-affidavit filed by the petitioner is quoted hereinbelow for the needful:-

87/2023 dated 29.05.2023 issued by the Registrar has granted permanent affiliation to the petitioner's college.
