Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.
The petitioner was the driver of the truck from which liquor was being uploaded on a Bolero vehicle. Submission of the petitioner is that the petitioner had no knowledge of the said liquor nor he has got any such criminal antecedent. Moreover, son of the petitioner is suffering from meningitis and there is no one in the family members to ensure his treatment.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10297 of 2017 (2) dt.21-03-2017 2/2 Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada/successor Court in connection with Hisua Police Station Case No. 262 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
