The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 498(A) & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per complaint petition, complainant was married with one Md. Seraj (elder brother of petitioner) in the year 2014 and it is alleged that after the marriage, all the in-laws members, including husband, started torturing her for dowry and thereafter, ousted her from her matrimonial home. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is devar of the complainant and allegation is general and omnibus.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., East, Muzaffarpur in connection with Muzaffarpur Complaint Case No. 2574 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
