NILU AGRAWAL ORAL ORDER 05-03-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the L. N. Mithila University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga. Petitioners in the present writ application claim payment of retiral dues i.e. arrears of salary towards D.A., H.R.A., M.A. from 01.01.2006 to 31.01.2010 along with interest at the rate of 12%, on delayed payment of Earned Leave Encashment at the rate of 12%, Group Insurance with interest at
Patna High Court CWJC No.3964 of 2019(2) dt.05-03-2019 2/2 the rate of 12.5% and DDA with interest at the rate of 9% Compound Interest till the date of payment.
Petitioners retired from the post of Associate Professor from the Department of Zoology and Sociology respectively.
Considering the nature of claim made by the petitioners, this writ application is disposed of with a liberty to each petitioners to file a detailed representation before the respondent no. 5, The Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga who will dispose of the said representation within a period of four months from the date of filing of such representation. Any amount due to the petitioners would be paid within two months thereafter. If certain amounts and interest are inadmissible, the same shall be communicated by speaking order sent through registered post to the petitioners.
