The petitioner, claims to be a major girl, seeks police protection to herself and her in-laws and further seeks a direction to the police for providing her necessary protection and enabling her to depose before the Magistrate, Saran for recording her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Learned counsel for the petitioner further prays that the in-laws of the petitioner may not be harassed unnecessarily. Be that as it may, the application stands disposed of with a direction to the S.H.O. Sonepur at Saran where the Officer-in-charge shall take immediate steps to approach the
