The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jamhore P.S. Case No.57 of 2016 registered under Sections 30(a) and 37(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.
The accusation is that 600 pouches, each containing 200 ml. country made liquor, kept in three bags, were recovered from the motorcycle which was being driven by the petitioner. One person was also found sitting behind the petitioner on the said motorcycle.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7017 of 2017 (2) dt.09-03-2017 2/2 custody since 17.11.2016.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad, in connection with Jamhore P.S. Case No.57 of 2016.
