2. This application has been filed for modification of the order dated 16.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.51543/2024.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 16.07.2024, but petitioner could not surrender before the concerned court within the time granted by this Court due to illness of the father of the petitioner and lastly his father died on 17.08.2024. He further submits that on account of being the elder son of his deceased father, petitioner was engaged in performing Shradha rituals of his father as per Muslim custom

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11026 of 2025(2) dt.28-02-2025 2/2 and rites. Hence, he prays that the time for surrender may be extended for further period of two weeks from today.

4. Learned APP for the State does not controvert the said submission.

5. Accordingly, time granted for surrender of the petitioner, named above, in connection with Darbhanga Sadar (Mabbi O.P.) P.S. Case No. 423/2023 is extended for further period of two weeks from today.

6. The order dated 16.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.51543/2024 stands modified to the extent stated above.

7. With the aforesaid observation, this modification petition stands disposed of.
