======================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE JUSTICE SMT. ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 18-03-2016 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 22.09.2015 passed by the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Purnia in Criminal Appeal No. 10 of 2015 (Tr. No. 04 of 2015), by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 04.03.2015 passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnia in K. Hat P.S. Case No. 145 of 2014 (G.R. No. 942 of 2014), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 25(1-B)A and 26 of the Arms Act and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for three years and a fine of Rs. 3,000/-.
Having gone through the judgment of conviction, I do not find any reason for interference.
However, considering that the Petitioner has remained in custody for about two years, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by him. With the aforesaid observations, the application stands dismissed.
