The petitioners raise a grievance against their nonappointment to the post of Woman Health Worker. A counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the Staff Selection Commission and Mr. S.S. Sundaram, learned counsel affidavit for the Commission invites the attention of this Court to paragraph 6 thereof in which it is stated that the petitioners come under the general category and although they have secured minimum
Patna High Court CWJC No.5560 of 2016 dt.09-03-2018 qualifying marks but could not be appointed because they were below the minimum cut-off rank in the respective category. The counter affidavit was served on the counsel for the petitioners on 17.5.2016 and there is no rejoinder as to the stand of the Commission that the petitioners were below the cut-off rank in the general category.
The writ petition is dismissed.
