This application for regular bail arises out of Nalanda P.S. Case No. 20 of 2019, for the offences punishable under Section 396 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is in custody sicne 12.04.2019. His prayer for regular bail was earlier rejected by this Court by an order dated 11.12.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 57379 of 2019. While rejecting his application for regular bail, it was observed that the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew is prayer for bail after one year, if, in the meanwhile, there is no progress at the trial.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that there is no progress at all at the trial.

Considering the submission and the observation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23505 of 2021(2) dt.28-07-2021 2/2 made by this Court in the aforesaid order dated 11.12.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 57379 of 2019, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Nalanda at Biharsharif, in Nalanda P.S. Case No. 20 of 2019.
