Vide order dated 19.12.2016, this Court had directed the District Magistrate, Begusarai to produce the entire original records of Arms Licence Case No.88 of 2009 and, accordingly, original records have been produced which indicate that on 11.07.2009, report of the Superintendent of Police, Begusarai was received. Thereafter, a notice was issued to the petitioner on 08.08.2009 but the matter was not finally decided. On 19.03.2010, an order stands recorded directing the Superintendent of Police, Begusarai to send his comment. It is not stated when such report was received but it is stated in the order dated 06.12.2014 that report is very old, therefore, fresh report is required.
Patna High Court CWJC No.19945 of 2016 dt.21-12-2016 2 / 2 Suddenly, an order appears to be passed on 14.12.2016 fixing a date of hearing on 24.12.2016.
However, since the date of final hearing has already been fixed on 24.12.2016, let the petitioner appear on that day before the Collector, Begusarai and, thereafter, let the Collector pass final order with respect to the application of the petitioner for grant of firearm licence within a period of two weeks thereafter as much delay is already there.
This writ application stands disposed of.
