That this writ application is being filed for issuance of appropriate writ order or direction for setting aside the order of the Additional Collector, Begusarai (Respondent no.4), dated 03.01.2024(Annexure-3), by which he has cancelled the jamabandi of the petitioner and for directing the respondents not to proceed with any demolition as threatened by them and for stay of operation of the order, contained in Annexure-3, during the pendency of this application. The respondents may be further directed not to

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 3.1.2024, passed by the learned Court of Additional Collector, Begusarai, in Jamabandi Cancellation Case No. 36 of 201819/54 of 2022-23, however, seeks some protection during the interregnum period. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.

It is needless to state that for a period of four weeks from today, status quo, existing as on today qua the land / house of the petitioner in question, shall be maintained, in order to enable him to file appropriate appeal and seek interim relief. 4.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
