JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 19-07-2023 Petitioner alleges that the process for selection of Angwandai Sevika to Centre No. 288 was not in accordance with the guidelines. Though she is more meritorious, she has not been selected. It is her case that the person standing at serial no. 1 and serial no. 2 in the merit list was an inferior candidate.
2. It is not in dispute that the Directorate of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) has issued guidelines for selection of Aanganwadi Sevika/Sahayika
Patna High Court CWJC No.2772 of 2023(2) dt.19-07-2023 2/2 wherein the remedy of appeal has been provided before the DPO against the order of the CDPO dated 24.07.2019.
3. This Court is of the opinion that in view of such adequate efficacious remedy wherein all disputed issues being raised in the instant proceedings can be considered by the authorities, there is no occasion for this court to exercise its extra ordinary writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
4. The petitioner would be at liberty to avail remedy in accordance with the guidelines.
