The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 473, 389(B) and 489(C) of the I.P.C.
Allegation is that the counterfeit currency of Rs.4000/- was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 22.10.2018 and has got no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet has been submitted in the case. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner has been made accused due to mistake of fact. There is no substantive evidence to suggest that currency possessed by the petitioner was a counterfeit.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Purnea in connection with Banmankhi P.S. case No.221 of 2018.
