JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 11-03-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Ram Priya Sharan Singh, learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lachhuar P.S. Case No. 12 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2022, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and has antecedent of one case and allegation is of recovery of 100 liters of liquor from a gallon. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was a passer by came to be implicated and has absolutely no concern with the liquor or the gallon. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Case No. 12 of 2022.
