====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER 14-07-2021 Heard the parties through video conferencing. The instant application has been filed for modification of the order dated 11.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 11792 of 2020 whereby bail was granted to the petitioner with a direction for him to surrender within a period of 8 weeks. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for reasons beyond control of the petitioner, the petitioner could not surrender within the time fixed by this Court and as such the instant application for modification of the order and for extending the time for the petitioner to surrender. It is further submitted on behalf of the petitioner that pursuant to the direction passed in the instant application, a sum of Rs.5,000/

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13621 of 2021(3) dt.14-07-2021 2/2 has been deposited in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee and receipt no. 1247 dated 5.4.2021 has been brought on record in the supplementary affidavit. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State, the order dated 11.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 11792 of 2020 granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Sarai P.S. Case no. 433 of 2019 is modified to the extent that the period fixed therein for the petitioner to surrender is extended by a further period of 6 weeks from today. Remaining part of the order dated 11.6.2020 shall remain unchanged.

The modification application stands allowed to the above extent.
