2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Buxar Nagar P.S. Case No. 415 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-406, 420, 467, 468, 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section-138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

3. According to allegation, the petitioner cheated the informant. The petitioner along with other accused persons took Rs. 16,000,00/- from the informant on the assurance of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12145 of 2025(4) dt.18-09-2025 2/2 providing him landed property, concealing the fact that the same was a disputed property. The petitioner and other accused persons grabbed money of the informant and the cheque, issued by the petitioner was dishonoured by the bank.

4. None appears on behalf of the petitioner on repeated calls.

5. Learned counsel for the informant (opposite party No. 2) submits that the petitioner has concealed his criminal antecedent in paragraph-3 of this bail application. The criminal antecedent of the petitioner has been disclosed in the counter affidavit.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, the same is rejected.
