The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No. 217 of 2018, registered under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 406, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing of the daughter of the informant by her husband and in-laws and confining her, along with her minor child, in the house.

Submission is that the petitioner is the husband of the daughter of the informant and he is in custody since11.01.2020. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Barauli
