The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present case is squarely covered by a judgment of this Court dated 17.07.2017 passed in CWJC no. 17670 of 2017.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 4 to consider the case of the petitioner in light the aforesaid judgment dated 17.07.2017 and in case, his case is found to be covered, then the petitioner should be absorbed in service and granted consequential benefits.
