JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 04-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No.556 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 413, 414, 420, 467, 468, 353/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act. In the instant case total 257 litres of foreign liquor was seized from the Pick-up Van parked besides the road. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is accused in another case, in which the police has submitted final form against the petitioner and not sent up for trial. He further submits that neither the liquor nor the Pick-Up van belongs to the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid, the petitioner named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11521 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 within one month from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum- Special Judge, Excise Act, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhaulia P.S.
