The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Dehri (Town) P.S. Case No.288/16 registered under Sections of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The accusation is that the informant along with other police officials and S.D.M., Dehri, Sasaram, reached at Jamuhar Crusher Mandi where several crusher machines were found running illegal. On seeing the police party the owners of the machines fled away. Illegal 148 crusher machines were broken by the police officials. At that time 33 including the petitioners and 72-75 unknown persons started pelting stones at the police party.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11872 of 2017 (2) dt.04-04-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in fact, the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case on mere suspicion. However, the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. Further submission is that no allegation of specific overt act has been attributed against the petitioners. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Dehri, in connection with Dehri (Town) P.S.Case No.288/16, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
